Any way here on the Outer Banks storm season is brewing giving a new since of life or better yet a blood transfusion to you guessed it SURFERS. As of today we have three yes three named storms making their presence known in the Atlantic. With the winds blowing out of the northeast it's a road trip to Frisco.
Todays temp 85 deg. sunny and offshore conditions at the pier. Waves were a bit small chest to head high but still keeping to the south ends reputation, " barrels were the norm". Hey a short note for all who come to surf BE COOL to the fisherman on the pier they are paying customers. As usual there always seem to be a few bad eggs in the carton stinking it up. You know who you are so give it a break.

Shooting good surf shots is an art as is any other style of photography in which I'm still learning. You must know your subject , know your camera because it's sport photography and it moves quick, tripod is a must, and use the natural light of the day to your advantage. Oh ya a nice telephoto lens is big.
Well it's the end of the day and I've been editing a lot of pics, here is four for now. Lets hope the swells keep rolling north, hometown Kitty Hawkers need some too.
